Muffin Break launches e-gift card and corporate gifting

Muffin Break franchisees can look forward to a boost to revenues with the latest addition, the launch of an e-gift card and corporate gifting facility.

The extension to the in-store gift cards comes two years after the original concept was introduced into Muffin Break outlets. And now franchisees have another way to bring in customers.

The e-gift card and corporate gifting are available in a range of value options starting at $5.

Muffin Break is part of the Sydney-based and privately-owned, Foodco business, alongside sibling cafe chain Jamaica Blue. Foodco was established in 1989 and is one of Australia’s largest multi-brand retail food franchisors.

Muffin Break has a network of more than 300 cafés across Australia, New Zealand and the UK.

In May this year the brand scooped a top cafe award from survey company Roy Morgan; it was named Coffee Shop of the Year for 2020.

The awards for customer satisfaction are based on ongoing, lengthy personal interviews of over 50,000 people around Australia.

Two years ago both Muffin Break and Jamaica Blue were rated 4-star in the Australian Franchise Rating Scale, an independently conducted review of brands which are assessed across seven key categories designed to measure both transparency and performance.
