Expo to showcase top Melbourne franchising opportunities

More than 100 exhibitors will be on-hand this weekend at the Melbourne Franchising & Business Opportunities Expo, eager to showcase their models to a wave of inspired entrepreneurs.

For prospective business owners looking to take the first step towards being their own boss, the Melbourne franchising expo brings together a collection of a new and established franchise brands in one immersive event.

Tim Collett, event director said this year’s expo has all the expert advice and information to help kickstart a career in small business.

Seminars

In addition to the wealth of interesting models on display, event-goers are also treated to a series of free seminars running continuously over the weekend.

There will be keynote speeches from Jim’s Group founder, Jim Penman and inspiring entrepreneur and winner of The Apprentice, Andrew Morella from The Entourage.

Other speakers include the Victorian Small Business Commissioner Judy O’Connell; franchise specialist Brian Keen on how to franchise your own business; and Mary Aldred, CEO of the Franchise Council of Australia.

Exhibitors

While event-goers can come along and see well-known industry favourites, such as Jim’s, Poolwerx, Noodle Box, Aussie and Signarama, there will also be a number of emerging brands on display.

Fresh concepts Plumbing Bros, Solar Run and Quantum Blast will be on stand to share their unique view on franchising success.

Fiona Stacey, exhibition manager said the Melbourne Franchising Expo was a great family day out, with free show bags for the first 100 visitors each day.
