Young food franchise Mad Mex Fresh Mexican Grill is celebrating three milestones in the companyÍs two and a half year history.

The popular Baja-Mexican eatery with locations in NSW and Victoria has been named a BRW 2010 Fast Starter, opened its seventh location at Castle Towers Shopping Centre in Castle Hill NSW, and on 1 May launches its largest promotion in a link with premium tequila brand, Herradura.

For the first time, Mad Mex has been named as a BRW Fast Starter. Founder and company director Clovis Young said “WeÍre in one of the fastest growing sectors of the fast-casual dining marketplace, and weÍre thankful to our customers and business partners for helping us build our success to the point where we could be named a BRW Fast Starter.”

Young has plans to grow Mad Mex to more than 40 stores by 2016, with an immediate focus on Queensland, NSW and Victoria.

All licensed locations of Mad Mex will kick off the companyÍs largest promotion to celebrate the Mexican holiday, Cinco de Mayo, offering $5 margaritas and $5 shots of el Jimador, MexicoÍs most popular tequila, throughout May.

Herradura is also sponsoring a gift-with-purchase offering, with collectible shot glasses available as part of the promotion.

And between 3 and 7 May every Mad Mex outlet will offer $5 food specials including burritos, chips and Mexican desserts to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
