Children’s soccer franchise, Little Kickers, has recently been named the Best National Baby and Pre-schooler Developmental Activity in the inaugural What’s On 4 Junior Awards.

Little Kickers Inner North Brisbane coach and franchisee Wayne Knipe was also presented with an award for Most Outstanding Activity Leader for Children.

Karen Tannoch-Bland, Little Kickers Queensland director, was delighted with the national recognition of the award.

“We already know how beneficial and enjoyable our program is and we are delighted that our customers have voted for us in these awards.”

About 2000 local children now attend classes each week across several franchise areas in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

“Classes are divided into specifically-divided age categories to ensure a very level playing field, in which children from 18 months to seven years can gain confidence, learn co-ordination, control and a sense of camaraderie.”

Tannoch-Bland said that since the Little Kickers program was brought over from the UK, more classes and franchise areas have been added as popularity for the sport and children’s program has increased dramatically.
