Here’s a staggering statistics: Little Kickers operates across all six continents, in 33 countries, through a network of more than 300 franchisees and 2250 coaches. And that means that more than 65,000 children participate in the brand’s sports programs every week.

Little Kickers takes a fun approach to helping pre-school kids engage in sport, providing a positive for them to learn social and physical skills.

Established in the UK in 2004, the global business delivers the fundamentals of football blended with skills learning that’s appropriate to key stages of development.

This family-friendly business runs four different classes tailored specifically to the needs of children between 18 months and seven years of age.

Founder and CEO Christine Kelly built the brand around the mantra of “fun first”; she ensured the programs were created with expertise from both child development professionals as well as Football Association qualified football coaches.

Some of the important pre-school learning concepts that are included in the lessons include colour and number recognition, the idea of sharing, following instructions and using imagination.

Franchisees sign up to a five year term, and have the option to renew that agreement for a further five years.

The franchisor provides everything required to set up and operate the business, including marketing tools.

Since launching the soccer-inspired business has also introduced Little Rugby, and has a not-for-profit initiative to help all pre-school children have access to the fun sports program.
