Listen To Your Body trials new program, sets 2022 expansion targets

Listen To Your Body is ready to add new franchisees to the network as the gym chain sets its 2022 expansion targets.

Founder and CEO Ben Fletcher said a new Williamstown venue will open on 8 November, and franchisees have signed up to open in Adelaide and Perth in early 2022.

While lockdown has restricted operations for franchisees, they switched up their programs to keep delivering to their client base.

“It’s been tough, but being able to do outdoor training has meant franchisees have enough fuel in the tank to get by,” said Ben.

“All franchisees did really well and in Melbourne we feel positive about the amount of interest and enquiries from potential members saying ‘I just need to get fit’.”

A month long campaign produced great results with a top week in Geelong that smashed all records.

While opening up six outlets over the past few months, Ben has also used the time develop a new functional solutions program which is now being trialled in Listen To Your Body company-owned gyms, has refreshed systems and sales processes, boosted marketing, and approved a new studio design for rollout.

It’s all about laying the groundwork for new franchisees to step into a refined business model in 2022 when Ben plans to open five gyms in each state across the country.

“We are planting the seeds for next year,” he said.

Andrew Frazer, the brand’s ex-general manager and a current top-performing franchisee, is now working with him to help recruit franchisees in to the growing business.

Ben said “We are planning for growth, we are super keen.”
