Jump! Swim Schools set to grow in 2021

Jump! Swim Schools is raring to go in 2021 as it relaunches its franchise recruitment program and gets set to welcome new franchisees into the chain.

The swim school offers swimming lessons to babies and children in small class sizes at 53 boutique facilities across Australia and New Zealand.

CEO Mark Collins says the business has had a strong start to the year with an increase of nearly 30 per cent in enrolments over the past 12 months. Even in Victoria, which was hardest hit by lockdowns in 2020, enrolments in January this year rose 15 per cent compared to the same time last year.

“We’re relaunching our franchising program to begin actively securing new franchisees across Australia,” says Collins. “The time is right for innovation and further growth and we’re really excited about the coming months.”

Collins points out that because the Jump! Swim Schools facilities are small, the network could restart lessons earlier than large public pools.

“As a result, our re-enrolments upon re-opening were solid, which is also testament to the groundwork that has gone into the Jump! brand both at a corporate and franchisee level. Our net promoter score currently sits at 87.1 which is extremely high.”

An active campaign focusing on kids’ safety post-lockdown also helped to spur parents into action. The issue of water safety remains key this year as Jump! develops a dedicated module as part of the swim program.

Jump! is a business backed by a much bigger company; Belgravia Kids acquired the swim brand in 2019. Belgravia Kids is part of the Belgravia Group, which includes health and fitness brands Belgravia Leisure, Genesis, and The Coaching Zone.

The network will be releasing details of the franchise offer in the next few weeks.
