Huxtaburger CEO quits role after three and a half years.

Matt Fickling has resigned from the Melbourne based business that he helped develop into a nine-store franchise chain.

In September 2018 the company announced a 10-store expansion plan for New South Wales, with growth tipped for Asia too.

A year ago the fast-paced concept store HuxtaGO was introduced to Glen Waverley.

In a LinkedIn post Finkling said it had been “an absolute pleasure working with the Board to take a well loved Melbourne hospitality venue to nine stores over three states”.

Fickling praised the head office team that helped grow the business.

He joined Huxtaburger in 2015 as group general manager, head of operations and people.  Nine months later Fickling took on the CEO role

Fickling had previously spent five years as a franchise equity partner with Crossant Express.
