In a bid to cater to consumers' changing coffee preferences, Hudsons Coffee has developed Barista’s Choice, a new blend with rich earthy flavours and caramel undertones.

The bold, dark roast is comprised of three different speciality Arabica beans sourced from the high altitudes of Ethiopia and Brazil, and it contains India's Kaapi Royale Robusta bean.

The new blend is designed to complement the brand’s already existing Hudsons Premium Blend, which has subtle hints of cocoa and vanilla.

The company’s resident coffee expert Lisa Feeley said Hudson’s has been observing Australia's changing coffee landscape and taking note of what it is that consumers' want.

She added the brand sought to create a blend that would set its coffee apart from the rest and encourage Australians to visit Hudsons stores.

“We want to offer our customers choice and quality when it comes to our coffee, the Barista’s Choice Blend is intensely flavoured and naturally sweet, from first sip to last.”

The new blend is also available for purchase in-store in 50g pre-ground take home bags or 1kg of whole beans which can be ground on request.
