Franchise executives, who could be in top leadership c-suite roles, heading up innovation, or providing vital on-the-ground support for franchisees, have pitted themselves against tough competition to gain a listing in the Top 30 Franchise Executives 2020 report, sponsored by BlueRock Law.

This year’s cream of the crop will be announced on 25 February in Melbourne.

The franchise executive were independently judged to achieve their top ranking, with a top quality line-up of judges from across the franchising sector:

  • Franchisors Nikki Lawson of KFC (soon to be heading up Taco Bell’s global branding); the founder of Quest Apartment Hotels, Paul Constantinou; and ex-Guzman y Gomez  and McDonald’s executive Mark Hawthorn.
  • Award-winning franchisees Crystal Petzer, of Hire A Hubby and The Alternative Board, and Sherwin Djamil, a multi-unit franchisee with Soul Origin.
Well-known industry figures Jewli Turier, CEO of Franchise Relationships Institute and long-term franchise lawyer Bruce McFarlane of BlueRock Law.
  • Inside Franchise Business editor Sarah Stowe

And to celebrate the publication of the report we’re throwing a party. The event at Ms Collins, is on 25 February from 7-10pm.

It will be a great night for industry professionals, an opportunity to meet the finalists and judges, and other franchisors and suppliers.

The 2019 winner, Natalie Brennan of Muffin Break, said at last year’s event “It’s great to get so many people in franchising together, we’re all old friends and we just don’t see each other enough, particularly in a social setting.”
