Franchising expos back in 2021

Franchise buyers take note – it’s been a long wait but finally news that the franchising expos are back on the calendar for 2021.

The roll of expos across the country gets a kick-start in Sydney in March.  After all the Covid restrictions this year, the New South Wales Government given the Sydney venue, the ICC,  the green light to go ahead with exhibitions.

Approval for the event in March is a step towards post-pandemic recovery, says the Franchising & Business Opportunities Expo exhibition manager, Fiona Stacey.

“It has been tough for every business to get through these times. However, we need to start planning for the rebuild and exploring new careers is going to be top of mind for many people.”

Stacey added “The demand for franchise businesses is booming as people search to secure themselves a better future – one they can take control of.”

Typically the expo will showcase businesses of all types and sizes, from recognised brands to brand-new concepts; from fast food retail to home service mobile options; from Aussie homegrown franchises to corporate businesses.

The expo is a great opportunity to see a divers range of franchise and license businesses, and get to speak with franchisors and franchisees.

Visitors can take advantage of a program of free seminars that shed light on elements of franchising and provide insights into what it takes to succeed.

With the go-ahead given for the first event of the year, the expo team has confirmed a full program of dates and venues around the country for the franchising expo in 2021:

  • Sydney: 26-27 March, ICC Sydney
  • Perth: 16 May, Crown Perth
  • Brisbane: 18-19 June, Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre
  • Melbourne: 20-21 August, Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
