Franchise growth hits 100

Pack & Send has reached its 100th agreement. The announcement comes as the franchise company reports a record number of enquiries from potential franchisees, strong sales figures and expansion plans.

Pack & Send CEO, Michael Paul said “This milestone marks an important step for the company as we look to not only accelerate growth in metropolitan and regional Australia but also internationally.

“The Pack & Send group will post strong sales growth in the 2008/09 financial year. In December we experienced the highest monthly sales revenue ever, and individual store results already heading towards very positive growth in sales for the year.”

Facing the new financial year Pack & Send is setting strong growth targets in light of the recent increase in franchise enquiries.

“This market has us well placed in the next year to really see significant expansion for the company.

“We expect to see our worldwide network extend into more countries stores over the next financial year and we plan to open another 15 store locations domestically. The opportunities are extensive and it will be an exciting time for the company,” said Paul.

Eleven new stores opened in Australia in the 2008/09 financial year. Internationally, the franchise network has recently grown to three stores in New Zealand with the opening of two stores in Auckland and in Wellington, and one in the UK.
