Everyone loves a success story, and there’s nothing like fast business growth to grab attention. Franchise brands are among the companies speeding through the Australian business-scape as the latest BRW Fast Starters list indicates.

Topping the franchise representation is Australian Skin Clinics, ranked at number seven. The clinic business brought in a revenue of $29,539,884, that’s a growth rate of 74 percent.

As founder Deb Farnworth-Wood explains, “The current accelerated growth comes at a time when it’s now OK to spoil yourself.”

But it wasn’t always an easy journey. “In the early days there were times when I didn’t draw a salary or when I tipped my personal bank account back into the business but I always knew it would pay off in the end,” she says.

At number 11 on the list, the food sensation Rolld Australia, showing a 66.6 percent growth to bring in revenue of $22,255,154. It now has 435 employees. Last year this Vietnamese franchise chain was ranked at 27.

Listed at 73, LegalVision with a revenue of $2,464,345 and 33 employees. The fixed-fee specialist legal services firm saw growth of 84.6 percent.

Just behind is Croc’s Franchising – the indoor playcentre and party venue has seven employees, 137.6 percent growth, and $2,426,417 turnover, putting it in 74th position on the top 100 list.
