Five new Body Sculpting Clinics will nearly double the business in 2022

Adding five new Body Sculpting Clinics in 2022 will nearly double the number of clinics in the chain for the Aussie franchise.

The Sydney-based aesthetics business has just opened a Newcastle outlet, its sixth clinic and the first site outside the New South Wales capital.

Key locations for growth include Sydney’s CBD and northern suburbs, as well as capital cities across Australia.

Body Sculpting Clinics offers a co-ownership business model, allowing for a lower initial investment and reduced risk to franchisees. It costs between $250,00 and $350,00 to invest in a 50/50 partnership with the franchisor.

James Young, head of franchise sales and development at DC Strategy, which is working with Body Sculpting Clinics on recruitment, said “We’re seeing a wide interest in co-ownership business models and the fact that the non-surgical industry is growing at a rapid rate, means that a combination of the two provides an interesting investment opportunity”.

The non-surgical beauty industry is expected to continue on its growth trajectory. According to a statement published by the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia (CPCA), Australians are continuing to spend up on cosmetic procedures, a trend predicted to continue as lockdown restrictions start to lift across key states.

Founders Ben and Dominika Gialouris told Inside Franchise Business the focus is on franchisee profitability as the network of clinics grows.

“We’re here to drive profitable clinics with sustainable growth,” said Ben. “We need to ensure we are scaling at the right pace.

“After years of building and refining our business model and operations, we’re now in a position to offer a premium business opportunity to motivated and dedicated franchise partners interested in investing into the beauty revolution”.

It’s an advantage but not a necessity for franchisees to have medical experience – one successful franchisee is a doctor but another has a corporate/finance background.

Ben said business acumen, the ability to deal with people, to lead and manage are crucial skills.

Body Sculpting Clinics support helps with setting up the clinics and fitout, staff recruitment and the purchase of medical grade devices which give the business a competitive edge.
