Expansion on the agenda at Jim’s Pool Care

The past 12 months have proven particularly busy for Jim’s Pool Care, with the company recruiting another 10 franchisees.

The mobile pool shop, pool maintenance and cleaning company currently has 60 franchisees operating in territories across Australia.

Divisional franchisor Brett Blair said further expansion is on the cards. “The last three years has seen some major growth with 27 franchisees coming on board.

“We are on track to grow that number to 70 plus franchisees nationally over the next 12 months.”

Blair believes the company’s rapid expansion is reflective of its ability to provide people with entry level access into the franchising industry.

He also recognises its national master franchisors play a key role in facilitating such expansion, as they assist people while they make the shift from employee to small business owner.

Jim Penman, founder, Jim’s Group said Blair has played a pivotal role in the company’s success.

“Jim’s Pool Care was named the Jim’s Group Franchise Division of the Year in 2011 because of the excellent support and service that Brett and his team provide to his franchisees.

“Franchisees are our number one priority and we are excited about what Brett is doing in the pool care division,” he added.

Blair attributes his success to the quality of the company’s franchisees and the fact that Jim’s Pool Care is a well recognised mobile retail and labour business.

With the cooler months in full swing Blair believes now is the perfect time for franchisees to focus on training, so they can continue to provide customers with the best service and well-informed advice.

“As the season slows down it is an opportunity for franchisees to meet with pool care suppliers and learn more about new technologies and latest developments,” he said.
