Double opening weekend for Jamaica Blue

Jamaica Blue is gearing up for a big weekend of openings, with the franchise launching two new locations in two days.

The casual dining franchise’s latest cafŽ offerings are located in Cairns in North Queensland and Midland Gate in Western Australia, taking the brand’s total network to over 120 locations across Australia.

Officially opening August 23, the latest Western Australian cafŽ is located inside the Midland Gate Shopping Centre and is managed by Waterford Plaza owner, Kenneth Ting, who makes the step to multi-unit franchisee.

Drew Eide, general manager Jamaica Blue said the brand was thrilled to expand its offering in Midland.

“Lovers of coffee will be delighted with our award-winning Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee single origin and signature blend, as well as our seasonal single origins served in-store by highly-trained baristas every day,” Eide said.

To celebrate, Jamaica Blue Midland Gate will be offering free small coffees all day.

Further East, first-time franchisee Ronald Dante joins the Jamaica Blue network with the opening of his Cairns Stockland location on August 24.

“We’re thrilled to bring the best of Jamaica to Cairns again as we open our second store here,” Eide said

Jamaica Blue is owned and operated by the Foodco Group, and has a network of over 170 outlets across seven countries, including Australia, New Zealand, China, the UAE, Singapore, Malaysia and the U.K.
