Business Hub looking to open 14 franchises

Business Hub is almost an accidental franchise: the couple’s core business is property development but they discovered an opportunity they couldn’t let pass.

A building they had plans for wasn’t approved by council so they decided to sub let offices for cash flow; before they knew it he offices were filled and that’s how Business Hub came about.

The serviced office organisation provides affordable work spaces. CEO and founder George Kipriz says the target demographic for the franchise are ‘mumpraneurs’.

“A lot of people are stepping away from food franchises- this franchise really gives flexibility,” he says.

The franchise is a family owned business. Kipriz focuses on acquisitions while his wife Georgia focuses more on operations.

The company started seven years ago.

“We are doing territory allocations, we are at the preliminary stages. We should have 14 over the next 12 months,” he says.

The company is getting into Victoria, NSW and QLD and has international partnerships in Indonesia, Singapore and Dubai.
