Building and auto brands will be among many franchises showcasing their business model at the upcoming Sydney Franchising & Business Opportunities expo.

Touch Up Guys

The 30-year old Touch Up Guys business delivers mobile paint and bumper repairs services and has grown to more than 60 franchisees across Australia.

Franchisees can expect to pay $120,000 including GST for a turnkey business – everything included: a new Mercedes Vito Van, full three week training, a week of return training with a national office trainer, ongoing mentoring and business skills training, full van fit out, all required equipment and consumables, uniforms, business cards, flyers, administration fees and the franchise fee.

The franchisor also offers competitive finance with a $30,000 deposit.

Snap-on Tools

It’s a mobile franchise operation that retails its own brand top quality tools and equipment to mechanics, engineers and technicians. The mobile store utilises all available space to display the tools and equipment as well as featuring a flat screen monitor to show product information DVDs and process orders with a mobile EFTPOS machine.

Born in the US in the 1920s, Snap-on Tools launched into the Australian market over 30 years ago. Today the leading global developer, manufacturer and marketer of tool and equipment solutions for professionals has more than 22,000 products and has a franchise network of more than 4,200 franchises in more than 130 countries.

An entry price of $50,000 under the privately funded Snap-on credit program covers the franchise fee, training, mobile store, stock and working capital.

Appliance Tagging Services

Test and tag specialists since 2006, ATS is focused on workplace safety and provides franchisees with a flexible business model. There’s access to a national client base, expert technical and business support, and admin (including report preparation, invoicing and debt collection) managed by the franchisor team.

The franchisor’s extensive research in to the latest appliance testing and tagging methods and equipment gives franchisees confidence they are the best equipped to maintain workplace safety and compliance in a highly regulated environment.

It costs from $57,000 to buy an ATS franchise, with the cost of fire training and state licensing extra.

Franchisees don’t need to be qualified electricians.
