Inside Franchise Business: Boost Juice takes opens drive-throughsBoost Juice is to unveil a brand new concept store, its first drive-through outlet.

The decision to adopt a fast-food format for the juice chain is all about convenience, said the CEO of Boost Juice, Scott Meneilly.

“From day one the Boost Juice has endeavoured to offer a healthier alternative in a market that was once saturated in fast food outlets. Similarly, the convenience of a drive-through up until now has been dominated by fast food chains.

“We know our customers are time poor and we also know that health is of growing concern to them, which is why a drive-through felt like the natural next step. It really takes convenience to another level.”

The new drive-through store in Ballarat, Victoria, will add to the growing footprint of the juice brand in Australia which has more than 260 stores nationwide.

The location for the first drive-through reflects the focus on regional growth for Boost Juice. The concept store will be the third outlet for the chain in Ballarat.

Regional Australian towns are experiencing population and employment growth and we believe Boost Juice can grow with them.

“We are being approached by many landlords that are looking for a healthier drive through alternative and our property department are working hard to find locations that suit our model,” Meneilly said.

The new venture will also feature coffee by popular South Australian coffee bar CIBO Espresso which, like Boost Juice, is part of the Retail Zoo portfolio.
