Battery World franchisees Babar Khan and Shahbaz Khan have recorded 12 months of 27 per cent growth year on year.  And there’s no better way to celebrate than with the opening of their second ACT store.

The pair saw the opportunity to add a brand new outlet in Gungahlin to their existing retail unit at Belconnen.

Babar said opening the new store means locals will be able to get essential products and services on their doorstep.

“We have been a part of the Belconnen community for three years now, and even in that short period of time we have come to realise the pivotal role we play in servicing local customers,” he said. 

“Our customers are our main priority, and there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the look of relief on a customer’s face when we have successfully helped them with their battery needs.

“And in doing so, we’ve realised the untapped potential of Battery World and our services to serve those within the surrounding areas too.”

In addition to providing high-quality, Aussie-made products Babar and his team are able to share expert advice with customers, something Battery World prides itself on.

He’s very community minded too, bringing together his passions for the business and the local community in sports sponsorships.
