Battery World franchisee Daniel Fenech has just added two more stores to his mini empire, which now numbers seven retail outlets.

Adding stores in Parramatta and Ryde to his existing New South Wales outlets in Caringbah, Bankstown, Liverpool, Kirrawee and South Nowra means Daniel is the franchisee with the most outlets in Battery World’s network of more than 110 stores across Australia.

And the acquisitions take him closer to his dream of reaching double digits in stores.

“A multi-site network is something that has been of interest to me for a long time,” he said. “I’d like to reach 10 stores by 2025.”

The Kirrawee and South Nowra stores have achieved double digit growth from 2020-2021 (17.95 per cent and 13.85 per cent respectively), and he hopes to carry on this success with his new acquisitions.

“The acquisition of these two stores in Parramatta and Ryde was an obvious and exciting choice for me. I feel privileged to be in a position where I can help power so many Australians and now, I’m able to provide this service to even more communities,” Daniel said.

“I plan to gain an understanding of our customers’ unique needs before making any major changes to the current stores offerings or layouts.

“The last couple of years have been an exceedingly difficult for so many and I hope to use these stores to continue supporting the residents of New South Wales communities,” he said.

The acquisition of the Parramatta and Ryde stores sparked excitement from Battery World’s general manager Johnny Kennedy.

He described Daniel as a “leading example” and someone who has shown “great resilience” through the pandemic .

“These two new acquisitions are a testament to his outstanding commitment to the community and I’m excited to watch him power the passion of Parramatta and Ryde locals to new heights,” he said.
