Aussie Pooch Mobile seeks support for flood-stricken pets

Aussie Pooch Mobile, the largest franchised dog wash and care company in the world, has come to the aid of Australia’s flood-affected pets and become an official collection agency for the RSPCA. The franchise group will also donate 10c to the RSPCA from every dog washed until February 28.

Aussie Pooch Mobile founder Chris Taylor said “Thousands of animals need to be re-housed so donations are essential. “Many of the animals will need after care due to the affect that wet and muddy conditions can have on animals. Apart from increased risk of fleas, mosquito bites, ticks, worms, skin infections, snake bites and heartworm, like us animals are also at risk of getting seriously ill, or even dying, from drinking contaminated water.”
