Amber Group Australia has been developing new ways to work with its franchisees and store leaders to deliver new products and services to provide customers with more reasons visit their stores.

“Whilst the business has had a continued focus on supporting our franchise partners and store teams through the Covid-19 lockdowns, Amber has strived to deliver on the quality and reliability of products to meet our customer’s needs’,” states Head of Marketing – Paul Byrne.

“We’ve spent the last 12 months working to keep staff and customers safe, while providing practical and financial support to our franchisees and stores to help them through some of the tougher trading periods. The reopening of retail trading has been strong and rapid, and we knew we needed to make sure we could maximise opportunities when they returned,” Mr Byrne said.

With this in mind, Amber is pleased to announce the re-location our distribution centre and head office to the new Goodman’s Oakdale South Industrial Estate. The decision to upgrade our facility has been designed to deliver increased capacity to accommodate future store sales growth and the further expansion of our franchise network.

The purpose-built 12,370sqm office and warehouse currently contains 7,200 pallets of product which will provide roughly 150,000sqm of tiles and pavers for our network of customers.

The warehouse move was facilitated by Tania Small, DC Manager, who managed to move the near 8,000 pallets worth of stock from the previous warehouse in Blacktown to the new site located at Kemps Creek, during the lockdown period – both an immense and complicated process.

Andrew Lotter, Head of Product, said, “Amber’s continued business growth throughout the year, despite the pandemic, has encourage us to relocate our facility to better service our customers. We predict there to be a strong rebound in the wider building and construction industry throughout next year where we will now be poised to take full advantage of with our recently introduced suite of new products launching.

“These ranges have been sourced from leading manufacturers across Europe and the Middle East from countries such as Italy, Spain, Egypt and Turkey, to name a just a few. We are excited to deliver the latest trends and styles to our customers.”

Amber Group currently operates 28 stores across NSW, ACT and QLD and provides a range of indoor and outdoor products such as tiles, pavers, blocks, retaining walls, and bathroom ware.
