Franchising a focus for Pure Protect

Since forming in mid-2008, hygiene and infection control business Pure Protect has developed a franchise network of more than 20 operators nationwide and another four in New Zealand. The business is now working towards developing its franchise network and expanding its customer base, which includes hotels, hospitals, aged care facilities, schools and recreation centres.

The company will this year launch seven new product innovations and three further service programs, which David Steytler, general manager, corporate and marketing, hopes will further expand the potential customer base and increase the opportunities for franchisees to develop their businesses.

Pure Protect will be increasing brand awareness through various media initiatives including local print, radio and magazines but also plans to attend industry specific expos to capitalise on the interest that these initiatives have generated.

Western Australia is very important to our business, Steytler says. We have had a tremendous response from the introduction of our services and are beginning to see the rewards of the groundwork that has been put in over the past 12 months. There are currently four franchise owners in Western Australia, all at different stages of development. As we continue to secure national customers we will require more franchise owner-operators to service these customers.
