Fastway Couriers launches new delivery service

Fastway Couriers has launched its new Trans-Tasman courier service, which is specifically designed to speed up the shipping time for parcels sent between Australia and New Zealand.

Under the new service, parcels sent to New Zealand take between two and five business days for door-to-door delivery.

Parcels are equipped with full online tracking, and there are no hidden charges or re-delivery fees.

“It allows customers to input the details online, calculate the end-to-end cost and print consignment labels, ready for collection by a local Fastway Courier franchisee,” said CEO Richard Thame.

While he said the service is designed for customers who regularly send documents and parcels across the Tasman, it could see franchisees enjoy a boost in business among those looking to send a last minute gift to New Zealand over the busy Christmas period.

“At Fastway, we want to make it as easy and cost effective as possible to send and receive parcels. Our Trans-Tasman service was developed to fulfil the shipping requirements of our customers and we’ve found that it particularly meets the needs of small business owners,” added Thame.
