Two former employees of the Pack & Send franchise have joined forces to develop their own consultancy model, focused on franchise recruitment and franchise modelling.

Martin Lo Surdo and Leo Tortorici are directors of Amplify Business and have scored their previous employer as the first client. The pair will be handling the recruitment arm of the Pack & Send business as it looks to expand.

Lo Surdo told Franchising “We’ve been involved with Pack & Send since it was a network of 16 stores and now it’s 110 and gone international.”

Both share small business experience, running their own businesses outside the Amplify partnership, and believe this hands-on knowledge will serve them well as consultants.

Tortorici said the focus is on the franchisor client, whether that’s for recruitment purposes or implementing best practice strategies.

“We just want to have a happy client,” he said.
