As at-home fitness becomes the new norm, boxing franchise 12RND has launched an At Home Training Pack to help franchisees connect with clients during the coronavirus crisis.

The pack includes daily workout programs, a mobile training app, an eBook, and instructions for franchisees on how to provide online workout walk-throughs, coaching and support via video conferencing and social media.

As the Australian fitness industry goes into a lockdown, 12RND founder Tim West has stepped up to support the 80+ franchisees and help them stay engaged with the 13000 members.

West told Inside Franchise Business “We have been quite fortunate through these challenging times that as a franchise network we have cultivated such extreme advocacy and loyalty within our club community that members have even offered to continue paying despite the circumstances.

“However, with this At Home pack, our franchisees can continue fulfilling their member’s needs as paying customers, and even continue selling memberships with this online offering until clubs can re-open.

“Our ultimate goal is to position our entire network to come out of these challenges stronger than ever.”

Franchise support a bonus in a crisis

Communication with franchisees has remained key at this challenging time, with daily internal communications sent out via email, and direct follow-ups from designated head office staff.

This communication also included expert advice from our partners in finance and real estate to support our franchisees in navigating any government stimulus applicable to them, and negotiating financial relief from landlords and our suppliers,” said West.

Once social distancing measures began to impact the clubs the franchisor contacted each franchisee to outline its game plan in response to the outbreak, and the potential and impending impact on their businesses.
