Home-building and timber specialist, Thermawood has unveiled plans to launch across Australia, offering a number of master franchise opportunities.

The New Zealand founded franchise offers customers an innovative and exclusive double-glazing and retro-fit window solution, improving a home’s existing timber joinery.

Launched in 2009, Thermawood established a solid foundation in New Zealand before making the leap across the pond in 2015.

Now with more than 50 franchised locations operating in Australia and New Zealand, the brand is gearing up to tackle a host of new territories, kicking off with a number of master franchise opportunities.

Graeme Clarke, Thermawood founder and director said the new expansion comes after years of refining the model to ensure franchisees get started on the right foot.

“I have full confidence in the systems and processes we have developed at Thermawood for the both the Australian and New Zealand markets,” Clarke said.

“I know that if we set a new franchisee up in any of the current Australian states of New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia, we can have them up and running and making money from day one while training.”

Master franchise opportunities

Clarke revealed that the double expansion strategy would see Thermawood increase reach in new territories while also offering the exclusive master franchise rights to the right candidate.

“We have a number of master franchise roles who will have the rare opportunity to get into something from the ground up,” he said.

“Along with the support from myself and the head office, we have a strong support system to make the business a success and I have full belief that with some hard work the business will be a huge success for the right person.”

The Victorian master franchise has already been snapped up, with new operator Jacki Cook revealing the unique business model provided the perfect platform for success.

“When we were offered the master franchise for Victoria we jumped at the chance as we knew what a great opportunity it was to get into a unique business like Thermawood,” she said.

“The prospect of building a team of franchisees really appealed to us and we have had no regrets, it has been a great experience so far and we are building a very successful team.”

The expansion is set for all major cities across Australia, with master franchise opportunities on offer in Queensland, Western Australia and Tasmania.
