West is best for growth at Eagle Boys

Eagle Boys is working towards being Western Australia’s largest pizza franchise, opening its 25th store in Perth and 40th in the state last week.

The opening of the Kingsway store on 29 November is part of Eagle Boys’ $20 million expansion strategy which will see 46 new stores open across Australia this financial year.

“Opening our 40th store in Western Australia is a hefty milestone in the Eagle Boys expansion strategy and also marks our 25th store in Perth,” CEO Todd Clayton said. “Domino’s Pizza has 46 stores in Western Australia and we believe our focus on real ingredients and real taste, not to mention our bigger pizzas, will help make us number one.”

Clayton said he expects the franchise to open almost one new store a week across its network in 2010-2011 to keep up with demand.

“We’ve identified key geographic regions where we would like to open new franchises based on the growing demand for our pizzas,” he said.

“Western Australia is one of these areas and a state still witnessing population growth and a strong economy – solid expansion over the past 15 years proves it’s a great state to do business.”
