SumoSalad puts focus on customer experience

Inside Franchise Business: SumoSalad has just appointed a chief customer officerHealthy fast food chain SumoSalad is taking customer experience seriously, appointing an executive to take control of consumer encounters – whether that’s instore, on the website, app or through other touch points.

The food franchise’s chief executive officer Luke Baylis said “This new position reflects SumoSalad’s focus on enhancing our customers’ overall experience and maintaining our position at the forefront of developments in the healthy fast food industry.

“At SumoSalad we are completely focused on deepening our understanding of how technology, health and food intersect.”

Lawrence Mitchell brings marketing, customer experience and health coaching skills to the new role.

He told Inside Franchise Business, “My focus is on marketing and the holistic journey of the end user, and creating great value for them.

“For franchisees I’ll be bringing more customers into stores, and working with them at enhancing the instore experience.”

Mitchell will leverage digital and technical tools to achieve this.
