Food franchise Souvlakihut has appointed a national sales and marketing manager to ensure the business continues its rapid growth through a stronger strategic focus on marketing. The role will involve managing and coordinating SouvlakihutÕs advertising, digital and PR agencies, unifying marketing activity, ensuring strategic direction and developing a 12-month marketing plan.

Rebecca Grech brings a wealth of experience to the business, having previously worked for international brands such as LÕOreal and Johnson & Johnson and key Australian retail outlets including Myer, Aldi and Priceline.

“While this is my first appointment within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) market, IÕve always had a passion for food and an interest in the industry,” said Grech. “Souvlakihut is an exciting business and I was thrilled to be offered a position where I could help grow its market presence.”

According to Souvlakihut managing director Bill Fotiadis, Grech will bring a focus to SouvlakihutÕs marketing strategy and ongoing direction. “WeÕre excited to welcome Rebecca to the team. Her experience means we will continue to create engaging campaigns that will maintain positive sales growth and increase our market share.

“Since Rebecca has come onboard, weÕve invested in consumer research to achieve a stronger business direction on marketing initiatives,” added Fotiadis.

“My priority over the next 12 months is to really hone in on our customer needs and ensure theyÕre being met,” said Grech. “The business has grown over 217 per cent in the last three years and was ranked third in BRW Fast Franchises this year. With a focused, unified marketing approach, my goal is to turn Souvlakihut into the most successful franchise in Australia,” she added.
