Restaurant Brands sales boost since Aussie acquisition

Earlier this year, the Kiwi franchise group bought KFC franchises in Sydney and regional New South Wales. Restaurant brands also owns Carl’s Jr., Pizza Hut, and Starbucks Coffee in New Zealand.

An Inside Retail report states that Restaurant Brands’ total sales during the three months ending May 23 were $96.6 million, an increase of 8.5 percent ($7.6 million) at the equivalent period last year.

Total sales for KFC were $65.4 million, a 1.4 per cent or $0.9 million boost from the same time last year.
