The retailer celebrates special occasions, providing premium, unique cards, wrap and gifts.

“Growth focus is national but there is huge opportunity in NSW,” said Debbie Parry, the franchise development manager of WH Smith; the company that owns Wild Cards & Gifts.

“Our goal is to open 6 new franchises in FY17. WH Smith is based in Sydney so great potential for further growth around the state.”

Initial investment ranges from $250,000 -$400,000+ depending on the size of the new store and location. Franchisees received support in visual merchandising, selling skills and business acumen. The network supports franchisees from the initial enquiry to lease negotiation and store design and fit out. Wild Cards & Gifts franchisees are allocated a business development manager and a team who cares about growing your business leveraging franchisee profitability.

“Our average Wild store operates on a 59 percent gross profit margin, our franchise royalties are only 4 percent gross turnover and we are structured so that franchisees receive the total commercial benefits of every trading term negotiated,” said Parry.

“As Australia’s largest card and gift group, our collective purchasing power enables Wild Cards & Gifts franchisees to obtain specialised products at better prices, giving franchisees a competitive edge,” she added.
