The chairman of the Quest Serviced Apartments franchise, Paul Constantinou, has been awarded the Ernst & Young Australian Entrepreneur of the Year award for Services.

John Hope, Oceania managing partner — Markets, Ernst & Young, said, “The winner for the Services category must notice a gap in customer delivery in a mature, competitive and saturated market. Quest have filled that market gap today running a unique, innovative business model that has facilitated the successful growth of the brand throughout Australia and overseas.”

Constantinous opened the first Quest property in Victoria more than 20 years ago. The company has since grown to become the largest serviced apartment group in Australasia, with more than 125 properties across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

“It was a thrill to win the state award, but to receive the national gong is a credit to the entire Quest group,” Constantinous said. “It’s certainly been a collaborative effort to become what we our today. Our guests, employees, franchisees, investors and suppliers are all responsible for helping us secure this award.”
