What is South AustraliaÕs best pool shop? According to the Swimming Pool and Spa Association Awards (SPASA), it is franchise business PoolWerx West Lakes, named top outlet for the fourth year running.

Franchisees Peter and Heather Clarke who also took out the silver and bronze medals for Technician of the Year said the award was their ninth SPASA award since they started operating six years ago.

“It is really encouraging for us to win these awards and we really have to thank our clients and our great team,” Peter said. “Our clients are always commenting on our award display so it is great that they take the time to congratulate us.”

Peter said being a multi award-winning store helped gain the trust of both regular and new clients to the store.

“Consumers are a lot more educated these days and they really appreciate our honest approach to business. We spend a lot of time with our clients and we do not oversell.

“We give them what they need to make their pools healthy for the family and thatÕs it, you cannot buy that kind of trust from clients.”

Peter said the business had achieved strong growth over the past 12 months with the store greatly increasing its business to business services.

“We have great relationships with hotels such as the Hilton in Adelaide and our services to real estate agents is increasing rapidly,” he said. “We always have our ear to the ground for potential expansion so business is definitely going well for us.”
