New stores and made-to-order menu from Muffin Break

Muffin Break has launched a new made-to-order menu in conjunction with the opening of two of its latest stores in the Queensland city of Gladstone and Toombul, Nundah in Brisbane.

The new menu affords patrons the opportunity to enjoy a range of freshly made breakfast, lunch and all-day items that are made on-site by trained staff.

Breakfast items include:

  • Brookfarm muesli with Greek yoghurt and seasonal fruits
  • The ‘big breakfast,’ which comes with two eggs, sausages, bacon, grilled mushrooms, tomatoes and toast
  • A pancake stack with either butter and maple syrup or berry coulis and fresh cream
  • A breakfast tortilla cup filled with egg, bacon and vegetables and served with mushrooms, tomato and chutney

A range of lunch options have also been added to the brand’s range. These include ‘lunch to go’ items such as fresh wraps, savoury pastries and muffins and gourmet quiches and tartlets.

Other options include beetroot and feta salad, caesar salad, salmon cakes, baked vegetables with gravy, a pasta slice that changes daily, gourmet tarlets and savoury pies.

John Macphail, national brand manager, Muffin Break said the new menu forms part of the brand’s reinvigoration strategy which was launched last year.

“Our revamped cafŽ design is more spacious with comfortable seating and visible kitchen areas for Muffin Break customers to see more of our trained staff in their element as they bake every day and grind every cup.”

Macphail explained the brand seeks to offer customers  time-out from their hectic schedules. “We want our customers to find their ‘me-moment’ at Muffin Break – that is a break in their busy day to enjoy a good value freshly-made coffee, snack or gourmet-fresh meal that is made-to-order,” he explained.

He said the menu operates as an extension of the brand’s current product offerings. “While our core product ranges of freshly-baked muffins and proprietary coffee continue to position Muffin Break as a market-leader, the introduction of our made-to-order menu highlights the fact that today’s Muffin Break offers far more than just great muffins and coffee.”

The made-to-order menu will eventually be rolled out to new Muffin Break stores Australia wide.
