New national training manager at Noodle Box

Australia wide noodle chain, Noodle Box has appointed Leanne Morison as its new national training manager.

The move comes following the company’s strategic decision to focus on enhancing the customer experience.

Morison brings a broad understanding of the QSR market to her new role, having previously been employed by Yum Restaurants International for eight years.

During her time as manager of the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) – Vic/TAS/SA/WA – Market two, Morison was directly involved in changing both training standards and methodologies.

These include the shift to online learning and the development of nationally recognised qualifications.

The new role at Noodle Box will see Morison spearhead the development of the brand’s online training program, Noodle U.

The interactive e-learning platform is designed to provide franchisees and their staff with the opportunity to improve their knowledge and skills as they relate to the brand.

Through this program, and with Morison’s guidance, Noodle Box will partner with tertiary institutions to offer nationally recognised qualifications for franchisees and their staff.

The brand’s general manager of retail operations, Dominic Cornwell said he was delighted to have Morison join the Noodle Box team.

“With her strong knowledge in training and experience with the RTO sector Noodle U is expected to be a leading example of Noodle Box systems and to be positioned at the forefront of the franchise industry by attracting potential franchise partners with training excellence.”

Morison is similarly excited by the prospect of her new role. “I’ve joined Noodle Box at the right time, an exciting period of change. I look forward to the challenges ahead and seeing the company grow,” she said.

The Noodle U training program will be released in Australia from October through to December, and it will be rolled out across the brand’s international network in 2014.
