A new dining, shopping and entertainment precinct was unveiled to Sutherland Shire locals on Wednesday, with the opening of South Village in Kirrawee.

The latest development from PAYCE and Mirvac Retail showcases a series of fresh market options, including a diverse range of franchise outlets, architecturally designed to maximise customer convenience.

Anchored by key tenants ALDI and Coles, the precinct is complimented by approximately 30 specialty retail and restaurant offerings, presented in an open, multi-courtyard setting filled with natural light.

The innovative dining precinct features outlets from franchise favourites, including Mexican chain, Guzman Y Gomez and healthy burger bar, Grill’d, as well as the first outlet in the Shire for Southern-inspired eatery, Lone Stone Rib House.

Opening just in time for Christmas-trading, the South Village dining and entertainment precinct will also provide Kirrawee residents with a number of lifestyle and retail outlets, such as Priceline and Plus Fitness Gym, with final tenants and a community park to be unveiled in 2019.

Susan MacDonald, Mirvac head of retail said the company was excited to deliver a fresh convenience hub to the local community.

“Everything at South Village has been carefully curated to create an engaging environment offering new and modern choices in food and services, dining and well-being lifestyle pursuits, including the creation of a new community park that will be completed by mid-next year,” MacDonald said.

At the opening on Wednesday, local artist, Mulga, renowned for his unique style of intricate line work and bright colours, added a series of pieces throughout the centre, including an interactive demonstration where residents were invited to come paint alongside him.
