Mobile rock climbing franchise to expand in NSW and QLD

A brand new franchise is turning heads already with its niche franchise model – mobile rock climbing wall hire for events.  The rock climbing franchise Base Zero is expanding its network with two new franchises opening in Sydney, and one set for North Brisbane.

Base Zero director Wade Morse said the brand has already received enquiries from Perth, Adelaide, the Sunshine Coast and Newcastle.

“We are an emerging franchise – this is our very first year,” he said.

“We will also be at the Brisbane expo in July.”

This brand aims to makes work/life balance and franchisee satisfaction paramount. One of the benefits of the franchise model is that it allows franchisees to leverage a three to four day working week due to the support from the network.

Morse explained that this is because franchisees do not need to spend a lot of time developing a client base, as the network’s sales support team manage and develop client relationships. Essentially, franchisees are required to manage the franchise when events are booked by teachers for children and teens, or event coordinators organising activities for corporate team building.

And franchisees don’t need to jump through flaming hoops to get started.

“Franchisees don’t need special certifications in rock climbing,” he added.

“A franchisee needs to be a people person with a good heart, and enjoys helping clients conquer their fears.”

The initial investment cost of a Base Zero franchise ranges from $85,000 + GST to $175,000 + GST depending on territory, existing client base and value of equipment purchased. Included in the franchise model is e-learning, territory training and a dedicated team for operational support.

A term is initially five years, with two further five year options.
