Keynote speakers from top global franchise brands McDonald’s, Domino’s and Subway will be speaking at the upcoming Franchise Management Forum, with franchisee performance, recruitment and maximising market penetration the subjects up for discussion.

The Franchise Management Forum is an annual event organised jointly by the Franchise Advisory Centre and Griffith University’s Asia Pacific Centre for Franchising Excellence, aimed to provide franchising leaders in Australia with a forum to explore trends and topical issues.

Presentations will also include case study insights into franchise management best practices and the latest research into franchise trends in Australia.

Joshua Banister, franchise operations manager, McDonald’s will speak on growth challenges facing the biggest franchise brand in the world.

How to improve franchisee recruitment will be discussed by Patrick McMichael, development and franchising officer (Aust/NZ), Domino’s Pizza.

Tracy Steinwand, Subway territory manager and former regional director, Aust/NZ, will focus on Saturation versus Cannibalisation: how do you fill the gaps in a maturing system without eroding sales?

With a focus on best practice, additional topics include whether franchisees make better franchisors, based on the Burger Edge case study of a franchisee who bought out his franchisor, and the latest Australian franchise benchmarking and e-commerce research.

The Franchise Management Forum will be held in Brisbane on June 6 from 9am to 5pm at the Griffith Graduate Centre at South Bank. Registration fees starting from $395 per participant.
