Inside Franchise Business: a new personality for Laser Clinics AustraliaLaser Clinics Australia has unveiled a new brand personality that celebrates the freedom of individuality.

It has unveiled a new look website, is launching a marketing campaign with the theme “What’s your youness?”, and refreshing store design and staff uniforms.

The franchised chain is focusing on the individual’s unique qualities, telling customers ‘it’s ok to play up your defining features, to celebrate what makes you “you”’.

The campaign theme was developed following six months of intensive customer research which revealed people don’t like to feel judged about how they look.

“It’s your looks, it’s your choice. That is our mantra,” says Nicole West, Laser Clinics Australia head of marketing.

“We want to empower people to celebrate their youness,” continued West. “Youness is a combination of the many things that make us unique. The dictionary lacked a word to aptly capture this, so we created one.”

Laser Clinics Australia launched in 2008 and has focused on high standards for best practice, customer service, safety, accessibility and affordability. Each year the clinics’ teams of more than 140 doctors and registered nurses deliver four million treatments.

Australians spend $1bn annually on non-invasive cosmetic treatments such as laser hair removal and cosmetic injectables.

The company opens its 89th clinic today at The Glen in Melbourne.
