Jani-King awarded major cleaning contract

Jani-King Commercial Cleaning in Western Australia has been awarded the cleaning contract for Covs (formerly Coventrys), a business servicing the state’s automotive, mining and industrial sectors.

The contract covers 26 different Cov sites which stretch from Albany to Welshpool with a mix of Jani-King franchisees and subcontractors for regional areas undertaking the work.

Jani-King (WA) Pty Ltd has been cleaning Covs head office since 2007.

Geoff Samuels, Jani-King Western Australia regional manager, said “Covs represents the largest retail chain we have had the privilege of providing commercial cleaning services to . We have been able to achieve this by using a combination of Jani-King franchisees around store areas, and closely directing and working with subcontractors in regional areas.

“In some of the locations such as Broome and Port Hedland we don’t have franchisees, so being able to engage subcontractors is the only feasible way to service Cov’s more remote stores.

“However, we police and manage their work just as if they were franchisees to ensure the best commercial cleaning outcome.”
