Hey dee ho Music expanding in NSW and QLD

Sarah Stowe

Hey dee ho Music provides educational programs for babies, toddlers and preschoolers and parent child classes. The core program is music but yoga (fun-key yoga), fitness (Active 8) and a drama and literacy programs (The Fiction Factory) are also offered. Inside Franchise Business: Hey dee ho Music is expanding.

The franchise already has a presence in Western Australia, South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

Celebrating its 30 year anniversary, the franchise is looking to expand.

“We’re looking to open three franchises in Queensland before the end of the year and more than three in New South Wales,” said Jenny Wilkinson, director.

Before the fitness component became part of the Hey dee ho Music business, ideal franchisees had a business background, an interest in children’s education as well as a singing ability. Now, Wilkinson says an interest in fitness and yoga is beneficial too.

The initial investment of a franchise ranges from $15,000 – $40,000 depending on work available in the area. The franchisor provides marketing support tailored to a franchisee’s goals, regular visits from the franchise manager, and comprehensive training.

Franchisees operate the business from home and can hire out childcare centres or halls to carry out programs.
