Healthy food business to grow in VIC, WA, ACT, and QLD

“Our focus will be on continuing growth in Victoria, and increasing stores in Western Australia, Australian Capital Territory and Queensland,” said Matt Jones, sales and operations manager.

In total, the brand is looking to open four to six stores.

Jones said the main point of difference in the Spudbar model is that the entry costs are less than other franchised food businesses. The initial investment is $230,000- $295,000 for a full turnkey operation, training, equipment and stock for opening. Terms are linked to leases, and renewal comes at no cost. Ideal sites are shopping centres, retail strips and CBD office food courts.
