Coffee franchise Gloria Jean’s has let go its Pacific CEO, Gareth Pike, as part of a restructuring move that creates one level of executive management for the whole group.
The new managing director of the group, Mark Bilton [pictured], was previously a non-executive director.
Keith Brown has been appointed to the role of chief operating officer.
Franchisees learned of the leadership changes in a letter from executive chairman Nabi Saleh, SmartCompany reports.
In the letter Saleh thanked Pike for his “contribution and passion”.
The company has confirmed a comprehensive review and restructure is taking place and an announcement is expected in August with further details.
