First time franchisees Han and Patsy Li are set to open Queensland’s first Theobroma Chocolate Lounge in Southbank.

The Theobroma business, which describes itself as the ‘Total Food and Beverage Concept’ is known for its ability to cater to all occassions, and business owners believe this venue will be no expection.

It will offer customers Theobroma’s signature seven bean blend coffee, a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu and the opportunity to indulge in a range of decadent chocolate creations.

It is said that locals will welcome the new venue with open arms thanks to its long trading hours and wide range of food and beverage options.

Wayne Wright, operations manager, Theobroma said “this new venue brings a friendly, relaxed, yet sophisticated drinking and dining experience for locals. With extensive alfresco dining and positioning in the best spot on the strip, the venue will surely become the number one place to see and be seen.”

“We are really excited to partner and work with Han and Patsy in Southbank. We believe that they will create a fun and friendly environment and will become an integral part of the community,” he adds.

First time franchisees Han and Patsy Li are extremely excited at the prospect of running the new venue, explaining that it is the overall Theobroma experience that they find really appealing.

“Opening a cafŽ, lounge bar with great food, chocolate and beverages, from breakfast through to dinner with a fantastic cocktail menu, is something that excited us,” said Han Li.

Since its inception in 2006 Theobroma has expanded rather rapidly, with stores now in operation throughout Melbourne in particular, along with Sydney, Perth and now Brisbane.

Theobroma franchises can also be found in New Zealand and Malaysia, and openings in Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Singapore and China have been confirmed.
