Fastway Couriers launches flat rate delivery service

Package delivery franchise Fastway Couriers has launched a new flat rate parcel delivery service for online retailers who ship large quantities of product on a daily basis.

According to Fastway Courier’s CEO Richard Thame, the new platform has been designed to reduce shopping cart abandonment rates and increase conversions.

He added it is imperative that online retailers provide a freight solution that allows customers to stay in control of the purchasing process.

“Our national flat rate parcel delivery provides a new, electronic prepaid service to retailers whereby business customers pay a flat rate for delivery based on the parcel’s cubed weight (size) and dead weight, allowing them to more effectively monitor their costs,” Thame said.

Fastway’s customer base of online retailers can choose from one, three and nine kilogram cubed weights.

When they select the cubed weight that best suits the size of the goods they wish to ship, online retailers will instantly know how much it will cost to send them.

Thame said the new service will benefit both retailers and their customers. “By ensuring there’s no guesswork and no hidden charges and providing up to $1,500 insurance at no extra cost, we’re helping make the online retail experience much smoother for our high volume sellers and their customers.”

The new delivery service is available with Fastway’s FastLabel electronic labelling system and it can be integrated with existing websites
