Courier franchise delivers for a good cause

Fastway Couriers has signed up for another year to take part in the cancer awareness and fundraising day, Daffodil Day, on August 27.

As a ‘Silver Sponsor’ the courier franchise will make approximately 700 deliveries free of charge to volunteer sellers across NSW the day before the event.

Fastway Regional Franchises including Gold Coast, Northern Rivers, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Newcastle, Central Coast, Sydney and Wollongong have supported Daffodil Day and the Cancer Council for many years but 2010 makes the biggest number of franchises supporting the cause.

“We are delighted to again have Fastway supporting this cause, without them it would be nearly impossible to get fresh daffodils to the volunteers, so it’s a great partnership,” said Kate Gregory, event coordinator for Daffodil Day.
