Chocolatree, a dessert business, was established in Adelaide in 2011 and is headed up by Ron Kohli.

The brand currently has a presence in Adelaide and is set to launch its first New South Wales outlet in Parramatta (March) and Melbourne (May/June).

And it doesn’t end there.

“There will be lots of exciting things happening this year,” said Kohli.

“The expansion plans for 2017 is to have another seven to eight franchise stores; three in New South Wales, two to three in Victoria, one to two in Queensland and two to three in Western Australia.”

The Queensland and Western Australia stores will be established through a master franchise agreement.

The initial investment ranges between $250,000 – $350,000 depending on the size, location and store design. There is a four week comprehensive training period; three weeks pre-opening training in a corporate store and one week post-opening in a franchisee store. Operators have access to on-going support including marketing and sales.
