Australian-born Cafe2U has reached a significant milestone, having just reached its 150th Australian franchise with the launch of the Hallam, Melbourne operation.

Cafe2U Hallam owner Peter Pettinella said “I didn’t realise I had purchased the 150th franchise in Australia until the Cafe2U training began. It is a fantastic achievement for the company and I am thrilled to have come on board at such an important time,” he said.

Cafe2U now has more than 230 franchises in operation throughout the USA, South Africa, New Zealand and the UK.

The franchise in Australia is showing annual growth of about 25 percent to 30 percent.

Cafe2U’s managing director Derek Black cited two reasons for overall growth: an ongoing prograqm of business analysis with existing franchisees and the company’s Acceleration Package which includes a revenue guarantee for the first two weeks of trading.

Black said “This is a triumphant time within the company, launching our 150 Australian franchise. With more franchises set to launch in December and early 2014, this indicates that we are still experiencing incredible confidence in the Cafe2U brand.“
